Healing from adultery is not easy. It takes time to grieve and to begin the healing process.
According to experts, on average, it takes 1-2 years to heal from a betrayal. Don't give up hope. It WILL
get better. As much as you may be hurting now, you won't always feel this way. I can promise you that. Time alone,
though, doesn't heal the wounds. You also have to do the work to heal yourself. I hope that my story and
the articles here will help you as you heal yourself. Please take the time to sign my guestbook.
Allow me to formally introduce myself. My name is Lorie and I live in Lebanon County, which is in
southcentral Pennsylvania. I have been married to my husband for over 23 years now and we have a 20-year-old son.
I have my own janitorial business, having done commercial cleaning myself for over 10 years. We are also "parents" to
four indoor cats and six outside cats. Yes, I'm most definitely a cat person!
I have a lot of hobbies and interests. I just wish I had more time to devote to them. I like
to read, watch football (Carolina Panthers are my pro team and Penn State is my college team), go for drives, play games,
write, spend time with my husband, listen to country music, and do genealogy. One of my high school teachers got me
interested in genealogy and it's one of my passions. I'm not a collector of anything except that I'm always looking
for rooster items for my kitchen.
